This is a native 720p projector, it cannot project 1920x1080. It can take a 1080p signal, but downscales it to project.

I have about 50 hours on the projector. Using HDMI connection between cable box and projector.PROs:One word that best describes the HD picture quality is.... "VIBRANT"!! The picture is bright, clear and the colors are captivatingly rich. Flesh tones remain natural, not overly red or washed-out. Brightness across a 92" white screen is more that sufficent with room in daylight, as long as direct sunlight does not touch screen. Projector can easily run in the economy bulb setting at night, or in fully darkened room.CONs:There is some video lag, when switching between HD channels. Focal length to get a 92" picture is about 8-10ft, which puts projector about mid-room, requiring some creative furniture selection/placement decisions for projector, HDMI cable and power cord connections, to get a discreet, custom appearance. Must buy RGB to HDMI adapter, to use existing RGB cabling. OEM replacement bulb assembly is very expensive.UNTRIED:3D performance remains to be evaluated. The bright picture will more than compensate for any tinting-effects of 3D glasses.I wish I had bought the projector earlier, instead of dealing with low reliability, short-life, bulbs/assemblies for my 5 year old Sony projector. If the projector reliability and picture performance will continue at its current level for most of the 4,000-6,000 hour bulb life, I'll remain thrilled at this cost-to-performance bargain!

We have used this projector at our church for about 5 months and we could not be happier. We do a lot of video switching and have been impressed with the quick response time when compared to our other projectors. The picture is so clear and bright that our second projector now appears fuzzy by comparison.
