The Vivitek D940VX XGA 1024x768 projector is a high brightness unit ideal for large classroom and conference room settings. The D940VX with .7-inch 1-chip DMD display technology and 4,300 lumen image brightness coupled with VividWheel III color and Texas Instruments DLP technology, and 2400:1 contrast ratio all come together to create an absolutely gorgeous image. The brightness factor allows the presenter to engage the audience in a room with ambient light without compromising the image quality of their presentation. The D940VX has two RGB, composite video RCA, S-Video, Audio RCA, Audio mini-jack and HDMI inputs. Maintenance is a breeze with the D940VX. The projector has a sealed pure metal optics engine to keep dust out requiring no filters to keep the engine running in optimal condition and lamp replacement is extremely user friendly, with a simple, sliding door on the top of the unit. I buy these for work and we have them running 24/7. They last for about 15 months with the original factory bulb, but when the bulb burns out, we've replaced it with a new bulb and the picture is very dim, pretty much not usable. Remember, we use it 24/7 so this may not affect your application and it lasted over a year...
